Aikido (Aiki-Jutsu)
This discipline of Takeda Ryu Nakamura Ha, Aikido is the art of gathering and combining forces. Nowadays, this Martial Art, practiced with bare hands is often taught as an art of self defense based on a specific strategy.
Using projection and lock, a master is able to defend himself against any attack, even managing to take full control of his opponent.
Originally, the art of AIKI (AIKI NO JUTSU) was the strategic and spiritual foundation of the TAKEDA RYU (Takeda school).
Later, an unarmed martial art was specifically developed. At first, it was called AIKI (NO) JUTSU. In modern times it is known as AIKIDO (not to confuse with the Aikido from Morihei Ueshiba).
